My body of work centres around the idea of imperfection. In an age where the camera you carry in your pocket can take amazing photos, I aim to strive for something recognisably different. I find this quality in film.

Dedicating myself to this medium has ensured creative consistency throughout my work, even as I develop across series and styles. I seek influence from others working with analogue methods, such as Canadian photographer Kyle McDougall, whose process shows me the benefits of film as a medium.

I am a firm believer that one’s choice of medium will change a body of work itself, out of which new concepts will follow. I’m beginning to see this materialise through my continued exploration of analogue film.
