I have created a photographic work inspired by themes and techniques of Art Nouveau. The themes, principles and techniques of this style resonate with me as I particularly like the idea of revealing the beauty of everyday objects and people, which is the philosophy behind Art Nouveau.
I hand painted the backdrops in the Art Nouveau style which then I photographed. Using photoshop techniques I combined the backdrops and the portrait of the model to create an enhanced overall photographic collection.
